The EBNR must ensure that a candidate fulfills all requirements before participating in the final examination. The decision of the EBNR to accept a candidate for the examination is based on a complete online registration, documentation, and records. Those who take the examination agree that they are bound by the EBNR’s rulings regarding credentials and examination scores.
The requirements to be eligible to sit for the final examination for the European Diploma in Head and Neck Neuroradiology (EDiHNNR) are the following:
• The candidate must be a certified radiologist or neuroradiologist for at least two years (see note 1);
• The candidate must be a full member of the ESNR (see note 2);
• The candidate must have successfully attended and passed a complete cycle of the European Course in Head & Neck Neuroradiology (ECHNR) (see note 3);

Additional notes:
1. The candidate must be a certified radiologist for at least two years. In other words, she/he must have completed her/his radiology training according to her/his local and national regulations at least two years prior to the examination. Please note that candidates who are NOT certified radiologists CANNOT sit for the final examination for the European Diploma in Head and Neck Neuroradiology (EDiHNNR).
Proof of completion of radiology training by the national certifying body must be submitted with the application. Certifications must be officially translated into English. Auto-certification is not sufficient.
1.1. A candidate who has completed her or his radiology training in a non-European country is welcome to sit for the examination when this training or experience is deemed adequate by the EBNR Committee.

3. The candidate must have attended all modules of the European Course in Head & Neck Neuroadiology, presently consisting of two modules, and must have passed the modular examination administered at the end of each module. There must not be an interval longer than five years between attendance at the modular courses and the final diploma examination.
