1. English is the official language of all parts of the examination.
2. Before the examination
Candidates are required to come to the EBNR Registration Desk 30 minutes before the scheduled written examination.
Candidates are requested to bring and present a photo ID document confirming his/her identity.
3. Examination:
3.1 Modular examination
The modular examination is administered at the end of each module of the ECHNR. The examination reflects the content of that particular module and may also include questions on anatomy, techniques, and general concepts of neuroradiology. The examination consists of multiple-choice questions; each question consists of a single stem with five options of which there is only one correct answer. One point is awarded to each correct answer; there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
Unsuccessful candidates will have the opportunity to re-sit the examination twice. Re-sit examinations are typically held on the second day of the next ECHNR module. After two unsuccessful re-sit examinations the examinee must reattend the module.
3.2 Final Written Examination
The final written examination will consist of cases presented as a Power Point presentation. The examination consists of multiple-choice questions; each question consists of a single stem with five options of which there is only one correct answer. One point is awarded to each correct answer; there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

3.3 Final Oral Examination
The oral examination will be conducted by internationally recognized examiners working under the guidance of EBNR.
The juries will consist of minimal two examiners.
The candidates will be requested to evaluate head and neck neuroradiology cases and answer questions made at the discretion of the examiners. These may include the description and reporting of cases that practicing head and neck neuroradiologists are expected to come across as part of their routine practice. The candidates will be tested on various aspects including diagnosis, differential diagnosis, technical details, further management, etc.

3.4 Results
The results of the European Diploma in Head and Neck Neuroradiology (EDiHNNR) will be made available during the Annual Scientific Meeting of the ESNR and Diplomas will be delivered during the Diploma Ceremony. If a successful candidate cannot stay for the Diploma Ceremony during the Annual Scientific Meeting of the ESNR the diploma will be sent individually.
